First Visit

Your first visit is a consultation where we review your referral, discuss your diagnosis, and go over your treatment options. Our goal is to make sure you understand everything and feel comfortable with the next steps.

Most surgical procedures are scheduled for a separate visit to allow for proper planning and preparation.

What to Bring

To help your visit go smoothly, please bring:

  • Your referral slip (if provided)
  • Any recent x-rays (if not already sent to our office)
  • A list of current medications
  • Your insurance information (if applicable)

Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Medical Information

Please let us know ahead of time if you have any medical conditions or concerns, including:

  • Diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Heart conditions or joint replacements
  • Current medications (including blood thinners)

This helps us plan your care safely and appropriately.

X-Rays

If your referring office has taken x-rays, they can send them to us ahead of time. If not, you may bring them with you to your appointment.

If additional imaging is needed, we can take it right here in our office.
