Certification

Our office takes great pride in the fact that we provide the necessary training and information required for our employees to practice very effective infection control techniques. We use proper "barrier" techniques such as gloves, uniforms, masks, protective eyewear, and we protect the environment with surface disinfection. We use heat sterilization on all of our surgical instruments and handpieces and monitor each cycle to verify the adequacy of the sterilization with QUALITY CONTROL MONITORING.

We participate with the Indiana University School of Dentistry Department of Microbiology sterilization testing program. Each month each of our heat sterilization units are thoroughly checked for accuracy based on the protocol set by the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

We take pride in the fact that all of our staff, including our business and surgical personnel, are CPR certified and regularly participate in continuing education regarding crisis intervention and management.

Dr. Asdell maintains his ACLS Certification and continuing education requirements.

Dr. Asdell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
