OFFICE INFORMATION Office Hours Scheduling Your Appointment

Office Hours South Bend office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays. Free parking is available in the Memorial Medical Parking Garage adjacent to our office. For your convenience, we will validate your ticket in our office. Scheduling Your Appointment Our receptionists strive to accommodate your busy schedule by offering a variety of appointment times. Your initial consultation gives us the opportunity to meet you and to discuss the very best possible treatment plan available. It also gives us the opportunity to evaluate your medical history which is very important in preventing possible future surgical complications. This consultation is very significant in relation to the course of your treatment. Occasionally, surgery can be done the same day as the consultation. However, examination and a complete discussion of surgical and anesthesia considerations are usually done prior to scheduling. Extensive surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia will require an initial consultation and the surgery will be scheduled for another day. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule when arranging appointments. Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation. Your surgical referral slip Any X-rays, if applicable A list of medications you are presently taking Medical and Dental insurance forms and cards IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18, at the consultation visit. Canceling and Rescheduling Dr. Asdell maintains a busy hospital schedule and may also be called to see emergencies. Therefore, he is occasionally unable to adhere to a strict schedule. We ask your understanding and cooperation in rescheduling on these occasions. We promise to give you as much notice as possible when this occurs, to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible, and to give you the same priority if you should ever need emergency care. If you cannot keep an appointment, we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice so that we may accommodate the scheduling needs of other patients.
